ZMI - eAU

The electronic certificate of incapacity for work in Time & Attendance

As of January 1, 2023, the electronic certificate of incapacity to work (eAU) will replace the previous paper document for statutorily insured persons. With ZMI – eAU you record sick days directly in your digital Time& Attendance system. For all incapacities to work supported by the eAU procedure, the corresponding eAU is then requested and retrieved from the employee :s statutory health insurance fund. The days of absence can then be transferred to the payroll accounting software (e.g. DATEV) together with other gross wage data via a digital interface.

  • Digital retrieval of all incapacity for work supported by the eAU procedure from the GKV server
  • Transparent overview of all eAU requests made and the associated feedback
  • Seamless integration into the absence recording of the digital Time & Attendance system
  • Regardless of the payroll system used and its location (in-house, outsourced or at the tax consultant)
