ZMI #HR Inside Webinar: The Whistleblower Protection Law is Here – What Companies Must Do Now

Following agreement in the Mediation Committee, the Bundestag and Bundesrat have given their final blessing to the Whistleblower Protection Law (HinSchG). After signature by the Federal President and promulgation in the Federal Law Gazette, the Act shall enter into force on July 2, 2023. Together with the experts of our partner whistle.law, we will inform you about the current status and how implementation can look in practice. As of this date, companies with 250 or more employees are required to implement the requirements of the HinSchG and set up internal reporting channels. Companies with 50 to 249 employees will have to comply with the same obligations from December 17, 2023. In this webinar, affected companies will learn from Johannes Jakob, CEO & Co-Founder of whistle.law, the legal background and what they need to do now. At the same time, participants will receive instructions on how to fulfill the new obligations
