    Frequently asked questions

Answers to your most important questions

For whom is time tracking worthwhile?

Professional time tracking is worthwhile for companies of any size and in any industry. Whether you work in trade, industry, the service sector or the public sector – transparent working hours contribute to more efficient personnel planning and create legal certainty in the company.

The obligation to record working hours is being interpreted increasingly strictly in Germany and in many EU member states. Even though there may be exceptions depending on the industry and legislation, it is advisable for companies to document their working hours in accordance with the law. This protects you from potential fines and allows you to keep track of all your personnel data.

Whether recording to the minute is mandatory depends on the respective legal requirements and company agreements. However, with Telekom time tracking from ZMI, you can easily record and evaluate times to the minute if your company or collective agreement provides for this.

You can conveniently record your employees’ working times via various channels: stationary terminals, the PC workstation or via mobile app. There is also an optional employee portal in the web browser and an electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU)-function are also available. This gives you maximum flexibility and allows you to adapt the system optimally to your processes.
