Elfershausen, 05.11.2018 – The digital transformation of companies and therefore the world of work is in full swing. This development results in opportunities and challenges, which were recently discussed by a panel of experts at the 8th Skilled Workers and Family Forum in the Arena of Digitalization at Siemens AG. Managing Partner Steffen Berger took part in the panel discussion on behalf of ZMI GmbH and presented, among other things, concepts for corporate practice that can be used to implement new working models supported by modern HR software.
“When it comes to offering flexible working time models and home office arrangements for employees, which also positively support the work-life balance, the trend in German companies is rising across all sectors. These location-independent working models have led to a significant increase in demand for web-based self-services and mobile apps for Time & Attendance at ZMI,” reports Steffen Berger. This is also accompanied by the increasing flexibility of organizations, work structures and working hours, which in some cases is also reaching its limits in terms of legal regulations.
On the one hand, modern HR solutions therefore have the task of maintaining the digital flow of information even under these conditions and supporting companies in the legally compliant implementation of Work 4.0. On the other hand, the role of employees in an increasingly digitalized working world must also be taken into account. ZMI has therefore also implemented functions in its current release that take into account the needs of employees in terms of a good work-life balance.
ZMI has become a leading solution provider for HR, organization and security. The portfolio includes industry-neutral software, hardware terminals and mobile apps for time and attendance recording, digital personnel files, access control, workflow management, order time recording, staff scheduling, merchandise management and customer relationship management (CRM). All applications are available as a cloud solution (SaaS) and on-premises.
The company was founded in 1996 and today has more than 30 employees.
