Networking HR data for smooth processes

Thanks to the REST API integration, ZMI ensures that new employees are automatically created in ZMI and updates from Personio are also synchronized. Attendances and absences also flow directly back into Personio – for a holistic, digital HR platform.

Automatic onboarding & employee synchronization

As soon as new employees are created in Personio, they are automatically added via the ZMI interface – including all relevant master data (e.g. ID, name, department, cost center).

Automated absence transmission

Absences, vacation or home office that are recorded in ZMI are seamlessly transferred to Personio and appear in the calendar – transparently and up-to-date.

Versatile time tracking - stationary & mobile

    How does the integration between ZMI and Personio work?

    The connection is made via a REST API. Employees, master data and absences are automatically synchronized – from Personio to ZMI and back.

    Employee attributes (e.g. ID, name, e-mail, department) and absences are transmitted. Secure and automated.

    ZMI allows time tracking via stationary terminals(Datafox, PCS, dormakaba), employee portal and app – including bonus calculation and assignment of work locations.

    Ideal for companies of all sizes and industries that use Personio and want to expand their HR processes with digital time tracking, ID hardware connection or shift planning.

    Activation takes place in the Personio Marketplace. You then generate API access data, which is stored in ZMI. Synchronization is then set up automatically.
