Our starter packages already include essential time tracking functions – including a vacation and shift planner and a modern time tracking terminal from dormakaba with a responsive 5″ touchscreen. Thanks to the clear structure and simple operation, even beginners will quickly find their way around.
An automated correction assistant supports you and your employees with daily recording and points out any discrepancies. If you wish, you can also record working times via an employee portal and/or a mobile app for Android and iOS.
Do you need more modules? No problem. You can easily add additional interfaces for payroll accounting (e.g. DATEV), an electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU), staff scheduling, order and project time recording, access control or driver’s license control to your starter package.

For whom is time tracking worthwhile?

Is time tracking mandatory?
The obligation to record working hours is being interpreted increasingly strictly in Germany and in many EU member states. Even though there may be exceptions depending on the industry and legislation, it is advisable for companies to document their working hours in accordance with the law. This will protect you from potential fines and keep track of all personnel data at the same time.
Is time tracking to the minute mandatory?
Whether recording to the minute is mandatory depends on the respective legal requirements and company agreements. However, with dormakaba time tracking from ZMI, you can easily record and evaluate times to the minute if your company or collective agreement provides for this.
How is time tracking carried out?
You can conveniently record your employees’ working times via various channels: stationary dormakaba terminals, the PC workstation or via mobile app. An employee portal in the web browser and an electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU) function are also available as options. This gives you maximum flexibility and allows you to adapt the system optimally to your processes.
